| Obverse description | Central field features a rectangular enameled depiction of the flag of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, rendered in red and white with a crescent and five-pointed star, bordered above by the legend KUZEY KIBRIS TÜRK CUMHURİYETİ and below by the date 15 KASIM 1983 commemorating the proclamation of the republic. A small crescent and star device appears at the top of the coin above the flag. The circular legend around the outer ring reads TÜRKİYE CUMHURİYETİ to the left and REPUBLIC OF TÜRKİYE to the right, with the denomination 20 Türk Lirası and the year 2023 inscribed along the lower periphery.
