TOGG — Türkiye'nin Otomobili Girişim Grubu — delivered its first production vehicle in late 2022 after years of state-backed development intended to establish domestic EV manufacturing capacity. The commemorative issue followed almost immediately, part of Darphane's ongoing program of pairing coin releases with government-designated industrial milestones.
