| Obverse description | Central field depicts the modernist architectural monument of the Mausoleum of Omar Khayyam in Nishapur, rendered in high relief with its distinctive intersecting arch structure. Surrounding the mausoleum is a decorative geometric border of eight-pointed star motifs applied in blue and green enamel, evoking traditional Islamic tile-work. The curved legend 'TÜRKİYE CUMHURİYETİ' appears to the left and 'REPUBLIC OF TÜRKİYE' to the right, flanking a crescent and star device at the apex. The denomination '20 Türk Lirası' and the date '2023' are inscribed along the lower rim. |
