| 裏面の説明 | The reverse depicts a dynamic figure of a female basketball player rendered in high relief, shown from a low angle with arms raised aloft presenting a basketball bearing a star motif at the center of the composition. Flowing hair and drapery lend the figure a sense of movement and athleticism. To the right, two stacked rectangular panels display the official logos of FIBA and TBF (Türkiye Basketbol Federasyonu). The background field is mirror-polished, providing strong contrast to the frosted relief of the central figure in proof-style finish. |

Turkey hosted the 2014 FIBA Basketball World Cup — the first time the tournament used that name, having previously been called the World Championship — across six cities including Istanbul and Ankara. The Turkish national federation had lobbied aggressively for hosting rights, and the country's rapid rise as a basketball market, driven partly by the NBA careers of players like Hedo Türkoğlu and Hidayet Türkoğlu in the preceding decade, gave the bid genuine commercial credibility. Spain ultimately won the tournament, defeating France in the final in Barcelona.
