| 背面描述 | The reverse depicts a detailed frontal elevation of the Temple of Artemis at Ephesus (Artemision), one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World, rendered in high relief. A colonnade of ornately carved Ionic columns supports an elaborately decorated entablature and triangular pediment populated with figurative sculptures in relief. At the centre of the colonnade stands a frontal effigy of the multi-breasted cult statue of Artemis of Ephesus, her arms outstretched, placed on a richly carved base. The stepped stylobate is rendered at the lower field. The curved legend 'ARTEMİS TAPINAĞI' (Temple of Artemis) arcs across the upper field within the rim. |

The Artemision at Ephesus — destroyed by arson in 356 BC, rebuilt, and later dismantled for building materials during the Byzantine period — survives today almost entirely as a single reconstructed column standing in a waterlogged field. Turkey has issued numismatic commemoratives tied to Anatolian heritage sites with increasing frequency since the early 2000s, a program driven partly by UNESCO engagement and partly by a deliberate policy of asserting cultural continuity with pre-Ottoman civilizations on Turkish soil.
The Turkish State Mint struck this in .925 silver at the standard one-troy-ounce specification that dominates the modern commemorative market.
