Obverse description Central field features a high-relief reproduction of an Ottoman silver coin (akçe or kuruş) of Sultan Ahmed II, bearing multi-line Arabic calligraphic legends including the sultan's tughra-style inscription and the mint name Constantinople (Kostantiniyye) with the regnal year 1102 AH, set within a beaded inner border.
