Reverse description The reverse presents a detailed cartographic depiction of the Mesopotamian theatre of the 1916 Battle of Kut-ul Amare, showing the courses of the Euphrates (Fırat) and Tigris (Dicle) rivers across the Iraqi landscape, with key locations annotated including Bağdat (Baghdad), Selman-ı Pak, Aziziye, Kut-ül Amare, Amare, and Nasıriye. In the left foreground, two Ottoman artillerymen are shown in high relief operating a field cannon, rendered in a detailed antique style consistent with the oxidized silver finish. The upper legend reads 'KUT-ÜL AMARE ZAFERİ 100. YIL' with the date range '1916-2016' beneath it. The inscription 'OSMANLI İMPARATORLUĞU' (Ottoman Empire) appears in the left field above the figures, and the engraver's initials are visible in the lower left of the field.
