| Opmerkingen |
Honduras began transitioning select denominations to Guardian® polymer substrate in the mid-2000s, with the 20 Lempiras among the earlier issues in that shift. The dual printer credit — Canadian Bank Note Company and Poland's PWPW — reflects a production arrangement that was not unusual for polymer notes of this period, where the base substrate and the overprinting could be handled by separate facilities.
P#95 is occasionally found with adhesion issues along the polymer window edges, a known characteristic of early Guardian® runs in tropical climates where humidity cycling accelerates delamination at those borders.
