Beschrijving voorzijde	Intaglio portrait of Dionisio de Herrera, first Head of State of Honduras, anchors the right side of the note, his name and title inscribed in small text beside the vignette. A large guilloche underprint numeral '20' dominates the centre field, with the denomination 'VEINTE LEMPIRAS' in bold letterpress below. Three signature lines captioned PRESIDENTE, GERENTE, and SECRETARIO DE FINANZAS appear at lower centre, with the date of issue printed immediately above them.

Beschrijving keerzijde	A central intaglio vignette of the Casa Presidencial in Tegucigalpa occupies the main field, set against a multicolour guilloche underprint.
