Beschrijving voorzijde	Central vignette presents two allegorical seated figures — a female figure at left holding a quill and a youth at right bearing the caduceus of Mercury — set on an architectural pedestal flanked by ornate guilloche-framed oval blank medallions. The bank title appears in a decorative cartouche at the top, with the denomination DOUE DIECI LEI in bold letterpress below, and three signature lines for Guvernator, Director, and Casier Central in the central field. The word ROMANIA appears in rectangular panels at lower left and right, with serial number and series references in the corners.

Beschrijving keerzijde	The reverse is dominated by a central intaglio vignette of a classical male bust in profile, rendered in a circular guilloche border inscribed DOUE DIECI LEI, set within a large ornamental medallion at centre. Two large oval blank guilloche panels flank the central medallion at left and right, with the numeral 20 in decorative cartouches below each. The denomination DOUE DIECI LEI appears at the top, a lengthy anti-counterfeiting legal text in Romanian arcs around the central medallion, and ROMANIA is inscribed in a rectangular panel at the foot of the design.
