Beschrijving voorzijde	Central vignette presents an intaglio-rendered traditional Latvian rural homestead with a thatched-roof log dwelling and a large deciduous tree to its right, set against a fine guilloche underprint in olive and ochre tones. The denomination numeral "20" appears in large brown letterpress at lower left, infilled with microtext reading "LATVIJAS BANKA", while a matching numeral occupies the upper right corner within a rust-brown side panel. The title inscription "LATVIJAS BANKAS NAUDAS ZĪME" runs along the top edge, with "DIVDESMIT LATU" in bold across the bottom and the issuer name "LATVIJAS BANKA" accompanied by a facsimile signature at lower centre.

Beschrijving keerzijde	The central field is occupied by a large, intricately rendered vignette of traditional Latvian woven linen textile ornament, reproduced in a geometric pattern of interlocking squares and rectangles in shades of ochre, olive, and brown, evoking the ethnographic weaving tradition. The Latvian state coat of arms — a quartered shield with sun, lions, and griffin, supported by two griffins and surmounted by three stars — appears in intaglio at lower right, below which the date "1992" is printed.
