| Obverse description | The central intaglio vignette presents a view of the Castle of Riga set against a calm waterfront, flanked at left by a secondary allegorical sailing composition, all rendered within an intricate guilloche border in olive-green and brown tones. The large denomination numeral "20" in guilloche form appears at the lower right, while the date "RĪGA. 1936.
