| Obverse description | Right-facing diademed and draped effigy of Queen Margrethe II, her sixth and final official portrait on Danish coinage, rendered in high relief with fine detail to the facial features, crown, and drop earring. The truncation of the bust is clean and unadorned. The circular legend reads MARGRETHE II flanked by a heart mintmark to the left, continuing with DANMARKS DRONNING around the upper and right periphery, all in raised Latin lettering.
