| Obverse description | Right-facing effigy of Queen Margrethe II, depicted with her hair elaborately arranged in an upswept coiffure adorned with a pearl-set tiara, and wearing a pearl necklace and draped attire, all rendered in fine relief within a raised inner circle. The surrounding legend reads 'MARGRETHE II ♥ DANMARKS DRONNING' arcing around the upper periphery, with the mint year '2002' positioned at the lower field between the inner circle and the outer rim. This fourth portrait of the queen was engraved by Mogens Møller in a refined, classical style. |
