| Obverse description | Right-facing effigy of King Harald V of Norway rendered in high relief, with a clean truncation at the shoulder. The designer's initials 'NA' (for Nils Aas) appear to the left of the portrait in the field. The circumferential legend reads 'HARALD V NORGES KONGE', identifying the monarch by name and title, distributed evenly around the upper and lower periphery of the coin. |
