| 备注 |
Issued in the chaotic final weeks of 1918, this note was authorized by the Carinthian Provincial Assembly as the Austro-Hungarian monetary system collapsed and the region faced simultaneous territorial claims from the newly formed Kingdom of Serbs, Croats and Slovenes. Yugoslav forces occupied parts of southern Carinthia almost immediately after the armistice, and the province needed functioning currency independent of any central authority it could no longer rely on.
The plebiscite of October 1920 — in which Carinthians voted to remain with Austria — resolved the territorial question, but by then these emergency Kronen had long been superseded. The short window of actual use makes circulated survivors more historically legible than uncirculated ones.
