Commenti	Reichenberg — today Liberec in northern Bohemia — was one of the largest German-speaking cities in the Bohemian crownlands, and this note dates to the precise moment of imperial collapse. The 30 October 1918 print date falls one day after the proclamation of Czechoslovakia and on the same day German-Bohemian deputies in Vienna declared the short-lived Province of German Bohemia. The city was issuing emergency scrip in a political vacuum, with no certainty about which currency authority would ultimately prevail. Municipal Notgeld of this type was a stopgap against coin hoarding and supply disruption, not a separatist statement — though the timing makes the distinction thin.
