| Reverse description | Two oval armorial shields, side by side and surrounded by elaborate Baroque ornamental scrollwork, occupying the central field. A Cardinal's galero (ecclesiastical hat with tassels) divides the date 17-61 across the upper portion of the design. An empty cartouche or frame is positioned below the shields, likely intended for a value indicator or mint mark. The overall composition is characteristic of the heraldic reverse designs employed on Salzburg ecclesiastical coinage of the period. |
