| 正面描述 | Veiled and draped bust of Empress Maria Theresia facing right, set within an open laurel wreath tied at the base. The portrait is rendered in a detailed Baroque style, depicting the Empress in widow's veil and lace-trimmed bodice. The circular Latin legend is divided by the wreath, reading M · THERESIA · D · G · R · IMP · HU · BO · REG · around the periphery. A toothed border frames the entire design. |

Maria Theresia's monetary reforms of the 1750s and 1760s restructured Austrian silver coinage around the Conventionsthaler standard, a system negotiated with Bavaria in 1753 that defined coin weights relative to the Cologne mark. The 20 Kreuzer fitted cleanly into that arithmetic as a third of a Gulden. Graz, as the capital of Inner Austria and seat of a long-established mint, remained one of several provincial facilities sharing production of the type across this period — hence the date range rather than a single year.
