| Descrizione del dritto | Laureate, draped bust of Joseph II as co-ruler facing right, with a lion-head pauldron at the shoulder. The effigy is enclosed within a wreath. The mintmark appears beneath the bust. A continuous Latin legend commences at approximately one o'clock and encircles the periphery, terminating with the abbreviated titles M · H · D · The portrait is rendered in the neoclassical style characteristic of Habsburg imperial coinage of the period. |

| Descrizione del rovescio | A crowned double-headed imperial eagle displayed, bearing on its breast an escutcheon with the combined arms of Austria and Lorraine. Below the eagle, the denomination numeral appears within a rectangular frame, flanked and surmounted by sprays of laurel and palm. The mintmaster's initials are divided by the eagle's tail feathers, with the date and assayer's marks placed in the exergual area. The composition reflects the formal heraldic style standard to Habsburg coinage of the co-regency period. |
