Obverse description Draped bust of Archbishop Johann Philipp von Walderdorff facing right, set within an open wreath composed of palm and laurel branches tied at the base. The surrounding circular legend in Latin is engraved along the outer rim, separated from the central device by a beaded border. The portrait is rendered in the baroque ecclesiastical style typical of mid-18th century German ecclesiastical coinage.

Reverse description Crowned quartered coat of arms of the Archbishopric of Trier displayed on a decorative pedestal, flanked by ornamental scrollwork and supported by elaborate baroque strapwork. The denomination numeral 20 appears prominently on the face of the pedestal below the shield. Mint-master initials flank the pedestal base, and the circular legend indicating the fineness standard and date runs along the outer rim within a beaded border.
