Obverse description Draped bust of Archbishop Hieronymus von Colloredo facing right, rendered in high relief with fine detail to the vestments and facial features. The encircling Latin legend runs along the periphery, identifying the Archbishop by name and title. On some variants, the initial M of engraver Franz Xavier Matzenkopf appears below the bust truncation, while other examples are unsigned. The portrait is executed in a refined late Baroque style characteristic of Salzburg mint production of the period.
