Aanvullende informatie

Henry VIII of Bibra governed the Bishopric of Fulda during one of the most financially destabilizing periods in German ecclesiastical history — the immediate aftermath of the Seven Years' War. The 1763 Peace of Hubertusburg left many of the smaller Imperial territories scrambling to restabilize their coinage, and Fulda was no exception. Silver fractional issues like this 20 Kreuzer were part of a broader reminting effort across the Reichskreis system as debased wartime coinage was recalled and replaced.

Bibra's episcopate lasted from 1759 to 1788, making him one of Fulda's longer-serving 18th-century prince-bishops. The Eichelmann reference places this among a tightly catalogued run of his silver issues.
