Obverse description Right-facing laureate and draped bust of Emperor Francis I, rendered in high relief with elaborately curled wig, enclosed within a prominent wreath of laurel branches tied at the base. The encircling Latin legend runs along the outer rim between the wreath and the milled edge. The mintmaster's initials appear beneath the bust within the wreath, dividing the lower branches. The portrait is executed in the late Baroque court style characteristic of mid-18th-century Habsburg coinage.
