| Obverse description | Draped bust of Karl Alexander von Lothringen, Grand Master of the Teutonic Order, facing right, wearing a mantle adorned with the Teutonic cross at the breast. The hair is styled in a curled periwig typical of the late Baroque period. The encircling Latin legend runs along the outer border, separated from the field by a beaded inner rim. The portrait is rendered in a detailed, high-relief baroque style characteristic of 18th-century German coinage. |
