| Obverse description | Draped bust of Prince-Bishop Adam Frederick of Seinsheim facing right, wearing ecclesiastical vestments and a cross pectoral, with elaborate drapery covering the shoulders and chest. The portrait is rendered in a refined Baroque style with fine detail to the facial features and clothing. A mintmaster's initial appears in the lower exergue below the bust truncation. The surrounding legend reads AD. FRID. D. G. EP. BAM. ET. WIRC. S. R. I. PR. FR. OR. DVX., identifying the issuer as Bishop of Bamberg and Würzburg, Prince of the Holy Roman Empire. The entire design is enclosed within a finely beaded inner border. |
