| Obverse description | The city arms of Nuremberg — a bifurcated eagle displayed, dexter half in sable and sinister half barry — surmounted by a civic crown, all set within a diamond-shaped (lozenge) frame composed of multiple incuse lines. The date is divided to the left and right of the shield, with the denomination numeral '20' appearing below the shield within the lower point of the lozenge. The circular outer legend reads the fineness standard in German, running around the periphery of the coin. |
