| Reverse description | Central quartered shield bearing the arms of Solothurn — a cross on a divided field — flanked symmetrically by laurel and oak branches, the whole surmounted by a sovereign crown. The date 1763 and the denomination cartouche CR.20 appear within the field, with the denomination tablet prominently placed at the base of the design. The circumferential legend CUNCTA PER DEUM is inscribed in Roman capitals around the periphery, bounded by a beaded border. The engraving style is consistent with the refined Baroque die-cutting characteristic of Swiss cantonal issues of the period. |
