Reverse description Laureate bust of Holy Roman Emperor Francis I facing right, draped in imperial robes, enclosed within a wreath formed by a laurel branch on the right and an oak branch on the left, tied at the base with a ribbon. The imperial crown is depicted at the base of the wreath below the bust. The circular Latin legend surrounding the wreath reads FRANCISCUS· D·G·ROM·IMP·SEMP·AVG·, identifying the emperor by name and title. The reeded border frames the entire design. The engraving is executed in the baroque portrait style typical of mid-eighteenth-century German municipal coinage.
