| 正面描述 | Full-length figure of the Blessed Niklaus von Flüe (Brother Klaus) kneeling in prayer facing slightly left, holding a rosary in his clasped hands, set against a rocky landscape with sparse vegetation. A radiant burst of divine light emanates from the upper right of the field above the saint's head. The scene is enclosed within a beaded border, with the initials 'I H' visible in the lower exergue. The circular Latin legend naming the saint runs along the upper periphery. |

| 附加信息 |
Obwalden was among the smallest of the Swiss forest cantons, and its independent coinage output was always limited. The 1742 issue exists within a broader Swiss cantonal silver tradition that was already under pressure from the dominance of Bernese and other larger-canton currencies in everyday trade. Few Swiss cantons of Obwalden's size maintained active minting programs into the mid-eighteenth century, which makes any dateable Obwalden silver scarce by default rather than by accident.
The HMZ 1#2-735s attribution places this among the better-documented specimens of the type.
