His name is rendered in the legend as '· T. G. MASARYK ·', flanking the portrait along the upper arc. The denomination '20 Kč' is inscribed prominently in the field, flanked by the birth and death years '· 1850 ·' and '· 1937 ·' in reference to Masaryk's lifespan.
