The shield is rendered with fine heraldic detail in a crisp, Art Deco engraving style. | Beschrijving keerzijde | The reverse presents an allegorical standing female figure in classical drapery, depicted in profile facing left and holding a long staff or lance, symbolizing the Czechoslovak Republic. To her left, a heraldic lion rampant is seated on a rocky base, rendered with bold sculptural relief characteristic of the Art Deco style. A branch of foliage appears to the upper right of the figure. The commemorative dates 1918 and 1938 flank the central composition left and right respectively, marking the twentieth anniversary of the republic's founding.
