| Reverse description | The central vignette presents a scene of blacksmiths labouring at a forge, rendered in detailed intaglio engraving in brown tones over a pink and green guilloche underprint. A circular cartouche at the right contains a vignette of the That Luang stupa in Vientiane, framed by ornate traditional Lao scrollwork, while a diamond-shaped numeral panel at the left displays the value '20'. Lao script inscriptions appear in the upper register and the denomination in large Lao characters occupies the lower centre. |
