| Obverse description | The obverse features a centrally placed octagonal cartouche bearing the inscription 'Національний банк України' (National Bank of Ukraine) in two lines, flanked by decorative olive branches rendered in outline style. Above the cartouche appears the Ukrainian trident (tryzub) state emblem within a small shield, surmounted by the legend 'УКРАЇНА' (Ukraine).
