Obverse description Printed in purple-violet on plain paper, the obverse carries a detailed letterpress vignette on the left half showing a rural alpine scene with a wayside chapel or shrine set among large trees, rendered in fine line engraving. To the right, the denomination '20' is set in a large bold numeral at upper centre, flanked by small heraldic eagle devices, with the denomination word 'Heller' repeated on each side and the issuer inscription 'Gutschein d. Gemeinde Vorderstoder' in Gothic script below. A block of text in German Kurrent script occupies the lower right, stating the municipality's redemption obligation and an expiry notice dated 30 May 1929, followed by three manuscript facsimile signatures over the printed title 'Der Bürgermeister'. A decorative cartouche at lower left contains a verse inscription in Kurrent script, and the year '1920' appears at lower centre.

Reverse description The reverse is printed in the same purple-violet ink and displays a geometric guilloche-style lattice pattern of repeated square and diagonal motifs forming a dense overall underprint border that frames the entire face. Two plain reserved panels on a cream ground carry the denomination in large Gothic blackletter script: 'Zwanzig' in the upper panel and 'Heller' in the lower right panel, both rendered in bold letterpress.
