| 备注 |
Unterweitersdorf is a small village in Upper Austria, and like hundreds of similar municipalities in the early 1920s, it issued its own emergency small change — Notgeld — to fill the vacuum left by the near-total disappearance of coins from circulation. The postwar Austrian state was in no position to supply them. So local governments, businesses, and even individual shops printed their own.
L. Haase of Linz was a regional commercial printer responsible for a number of Upper Austrian municipal issues in this period, which accounts for the consistency of execution across several Jaksc-catalogued notes from the same district.
