| Obverse description | Letterpress-printed notgeld on plain paper with a green tint, executed in dark ink throughout. The central vignette comprises the municipal coat of arms of Türnitz — a quartered shield incorporating a tower and branch motif — enclosed within drooping willow or laurel branches, with the denomination '20 Heller' set in bold Gothic blackletter within decorative rectangular panels to either side. The header inscription 'Gutschein der Gemeinde Türnitz' appears in Gothic script above, the redemption deadline 'Einlösungstermin 31. Dezember 1920' is printed beneath the arms, and three manuscript signatures with their respective official titles run along the lower margin. |
