| 备注 |
Styria's 1919 Heller notgeld emerged from the catastrophic currency shortage that followed the collapse of Austria-Hungary. The new Republic of German-Austria had essentially no functioning monetary infrastructure in its early weeks, and provincial and municipal authorities across the former empire filled the gap by issuing their own emergency small-denomination paper. Styria's Land government was among the more organized issuers, producing a short series rather than the chaotic flood of purely local Gemeinde notes seen elsewhere.
Heller denominations were obsolete almost as soon as they were printed — the postwar inflation made small change irrelevant within months.
