The left panel bears a municipal seal within an ornamental roundel above the year 1267, the word 'Notgeld', the redemption notice 'Einlösungstermin bis 31. Dez. 1920', and the denomination '20 Heller'; the right panel mirrors this layout with a heraldic eagle roundel above the year 1334, 'Notgeld', the anti-counterfeiting warning 'Nachahmung wird bestraft!', and the denomination '20 Heller'.
