| Obverse description | Printed in blue on cream paper in a hand-drawn illustrative style, the note presents a rural vignette across its full face: at left, a standing male figure in hat and traveller's attire plays a wind instrument while a kneeling woman offers him something, with a small dog at their feet; at right, a second figure stands amid stylised trees and alpine vegetation. The denomination numeral '20' appears at upper centre within a decorative scroll cartouche, beneath which the value legend 'Zwanzig Heller' is rendered in gothic script, followed by 'Notgeld' and 'St. Georgen i. | Reverse description | Printed in blue on cream paper, the reverse is centred on an oval text panel enclosed within a decorative floral border, flanked at each corner by four circular medallions each bearing the numeral '20'. The panel carries the full authorisation text of the Marktgemeinde St. Georgen i. A., O.Ö., referencing the municipal committee resolution of 12 June 1920, the total issue of 54,000 Kronen, and the redemption obligation in legal tender by 31 December 1920. Three facsimile signature lines appear below, designated 'Der Vize-Bürgermeister', 'Der Bürgermeister', and 'Der Kassier', with printed signatures. The anti-counterfeiting warning 'Nachahmung wird bestraft!' is printed beneath the oval. |
