| Obverse description | Blue letterpress notgeld printed entirely in Fraktur (blackletter) script, with the denomination '20 Heller' in large Gothic lettering across the upper portion and the issuing municipal authority identified immediately below. A central white panel bears the redemption text in blackletter against a fine horizontal-line underprint, beneath which the printed signatures of Bürgermeister Leonhard Eist and Gemeinderäte Barth. Retsch, Jos. Obermeier, and Mich. Allerberger appear. An anti-counterfeiting warning runs along the lower margin, with the printer's imprint at the foot. |
