| Obverse description | Cream-toned Notgeld note with a yellow-green guilloche underprint forming a repeating geometric grid pattern across the entire field. The title inscription 'Kassenschein der Marktgemeinde Schrems' is set in bold blackletter type at the top, with the large numeral '20' and the denomination 'Heller' printed centrally in heavy Gothic script. Two text blocks flanking the denomination provide the guarantee and redemption clauses, separated by decorative comb-border rules, with the issue date 'Schrems, am 15. März 1920' and three signatories named below. |
