| 备注 |
Pichl bei Windischgarsten is a small alpine municipality in Upper Austria, and this 20 Heller Notgeld dates from the chaotic post-imperial period when the collapse of the Habsburg monetary system left rural communities printing their own emergency small change. The printer, Jos. Feichtingers Erben of Linz, produced municipal Notgeld for numerous Upper Austrian communities during this period — a cottage industry born entirely of necessity.
One of the two signatories, Michael Mayr, was at the time serving as Austrian Federal Chancellor — an unusual distinction for a village emergency note.
