| Beschrijving voorzijde | Cream-toned notgeld note with a light green guilloche underprint. The upper portion carries the issuer title in ornate Gothic blackletter script. Three circular vignettes are arranged horizontally across the centre: to the left, a portrait of Joseph Mohr with a musical staff and the legend 'Stille Nacht' beneath; at centre, a view of the St. Nikolaus church in Oberndorf with the inscription commemorating the first performance of the carol on 24 December 1818; and to the right, a portrait of Franz Xaver Gruber with a musical staff and the legend 'Heilige Nacht'. The denomination '20 Heller' appears in large Gothic numerals at both lower corners. |

Two handwritten facsimile signatures appear below the text block, identified by their respective titles, above a printer's imprint at the lower right. |
