| Obverse description | The note is divided into two vertical panels, both printed in purple on cream paper. The left panel carries the denomination '20' within a dotted roundel at top, flanked by the inscription 'HELLER' on each side, above a central text block reading 'NOTGELD DER GEMEINDE NUSSBACH IM KREMSTAL · OB·ÖST·' in bold decorative letterpress; a vignette of a tied wheat sheaf appears at the foot of the panel. The right panel, framed by a dotted oval border against a vertically lined background, contains a detailed engraved vignette of the local parish church with steeple set among trees. The printer's imprint 'WEESER-KRELL – LINZ' runs vertically along the left margin, and 'JOS. FEICHTINGERS ERBEN, LINZ.' along the right. |

| Reverse description | The reverse is printed in purple on cream paper and enclosed within a decorative foliate border of oak-leaf motifs. The entire face carries a multi-line letterpress text block setting out the terms of issue: the municipality of Nussbach im Kremstal declares issuance of vouchers up to a total of 20,000 Kronen, authorised by resolution dated 19 May 1920, redeemable by the municipal treasury in legal tender until 31 December 1920, with a counterfeiting warning at lower left. The designation 'DER BÜRGERMEISTER' appears at lower right above the manuscript signature of the mayor. |
