| Obverse description | The note is enclosed within a letterpress border of ruled lines with ornamental corner pieces, the denomination numeral '20' set in large bold type at each lateral margin and 'Heller' inscribed in the lower corners. The central panel, in Fraktur script, carries the full authorisation text of the Notgeld citing the municipal council resolution of 3 May 1920 and validity to 31 December 1920, followed by facsimile signatures of the Bürgermeister and his deputy. An anti-counterfeiting legend in a ruled band at the foot reads 'Nachahmung gesetzl. verboten.' |
