Reverse description The reverse presents a large central vignette of Schloß Mattsee as it appeared in the 16th century, rendered in a detailed woodcut-style engraving showing the castle complex with towers and fortified walls reflected near water, framed by a decorative border. The heading 'Schloß Mattsee im 16 Jahrhundert' runs across the top in Gothic script, while the year '1558' appears at lower left alongside a scene of armoured knights; the denomination numeral '20' is set within a shield cartouche at the lower centre, flanked by additional historical vignette panels. Decorative side panels with medieval figural motifs complete the composition.
