Obverse description The left half of the note carries a detailed line-engraved vignette of the Mank parish church with its characteristic onion-domed tower, surrounded by trees and a low garden wall, rendered in a fine woodcut style. The right panel bears the denomination '20' at the top within a ruled cartouche, followed by the value inscription 'Zwanzig Heller' in Gothic blackletter script, beneath which appears 'Gutschein der Marktgemeinde Mank' in the same typeface. A text block states the municipality's guarantee of the obligation with its movable and immovable assets, the issue date of 15 Juni 1920, and two manuscript signatures of the Vizebürgermeister and Bürgermeister below their printed titles.

Reverse description The upper portion of the reverse is occupied by a central oval vignette enclosed within a fine line border, containing a landscape scene of a large rocky outcrop or glacial erratic amid low vegetation and grasses, with radiating lines suggesting sky or light in the background; the denomination numeral '20' appears in bold white-on-dark square cartouches at each of the four corners. A decorative scrollwork border frames the entire note, and a lower rectangular text panel, set off by a curl-patterned rule, carries the redemption clause in Gothic blackletter script.
