| Obverse description | Plain cream paper note with a decorative wavy-line border enclosing the denomination inscription 'Zwanzig 20 Heller' in bold blackletter script, the numeral '20' set within a circular rosette vignette at centre. Below, a block of German text in letterpress states the municipality's guarantee to redeem the note in legal tender and warns against counterfeiting, followed by the validity date 'Gültig bis 31. Dezember 1920.' The Bürgermeister's manuscript signature of Jos. Schörkhuber appears at the lower right, with the printer's imprint 'L. Prietzel, Steyr' at the foot. |
