At left, the municipal arms of Eferding show a red tower gate above a red wild man (Wilder Mann) holding a scroll, rendered in a woodcut-like style; at right, the denomination "Zwanzig 20 Heller" is set against a bold red guilloche rosette underprint, flanked by the issuing authority text and redemption conditions in Gothic blackletter script. The vignette presents a detailed pen-and-ink view of Eferding centred on a prominent church with a tall steeple, surrounded by rooftops, trees, and open countryside. Foliate ivy branches extend from the oval toward the corners; a ribbon scroll at the top bears the year "1919" and a lower cartouche ribbon carries the town name "Eferding". |
